~Responsibilities and Duties~

Responsibilities and duties are different. Responsibilities are things that you should and need to do. When I volunteer, stay informed, and respect the rights of others, I am being a responsible citizen. Duties are things you have to do. Duties include having to go to school, paying taxes, and obeying the law. If you do not do your duties you could possibly go to jail and get in a lot of trouble. If you don't go to school you could get a truancy charge and possibly get put in placement. Always perform your duties!!! Always accept your responsibilities!!!!

Free or not free to smoke . . .

Smoking is very harmful, not just to smokers but to others around them. Second hand smoke is just like the person that is breathing it in is smoking a cigarette. Through my research, I have learned that second hand smoke can cause SIDS, which is Sudden Infant Syndrome. It also causes heart disease and lung cancer, and may cause other serious diseases. According to Net Wellness, “second hand smoke makes the platelets in your blood behave like those of a regular smoker, even a short time in a smoky room causes your blood platelets to stick together. Second hand smoke also damages the lining in your blood vessels in your heart; these bad changes can cause a deadly heart attack.” Yeah, it is harmful, but it is also very scary -- Second hand smoke is helping kill people that are breathing it in.

There are a lot of public places like bars, restaurants, and work places that are smoke free because a lot of people coming in and out breathing that air in. I think that is a great idea to band smoking in public places because many people don’t want to go in restaurants and have all that second hand smoke around them or their young children. I think they should just stop selling them all together, but we all know that will not happen so we just need to respect our world and the people in it and not smoke around anyone that doesn’t want smoke around them.

Why Not Leave The Judging Behind???

I am blogging on judging because I feel that there is a lot of judging going on these days in our classrooms, our homes, out on the streets, and in our families. Families are judging their children or other family members because of the color of the children, another family member’s boy/girlfriend’s skin color, or how a family member dresses.

There is just too much judging these days. Many times, judging turns into fighting because people hear about another person judging them, and they get mad. It just starts a big war. We don’t need any more of that in this world we live in. There is enough violence and other stuff that’s going on in this world. There are shootings, and it seems that everyone is killing everyone over little things. If we don’t stop, our world is going to come to an end. That’s not what we want is it? That sure is not what I want. It’s your choice and decision on what you want to do. But I know that in order for us to really have “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” we need to all help to stop all the judging.
